About the event

Big Steps for Small Feet is a chance for charities to unite as one, in togetherness and hope, raising awareness for a cause that is close to each and every one of us.  It's an opportunity to show the world that collectively we can make a difference.

This June we return to take on the highest peak in England, Scafell Pike.  We are into a third year, one year after scaling Snowdon and two years since we’ve tackled Ben Nevis at night.

We hope to give those who need it the chance to walk and talk together, scaling new heights to unite and raise money for charities working to support bereaved families every day.

Nine charities are participating in Big Steps for Small feet this year, together making a difference by raising awareness and funds:  Twins Trust, Anam Casa Fasgadh, Bliss, Child Bereavement UK, Held In Our Hearts, The Lullaby Trust, Sands and Tommy's.

"Losing a child is an unimaginable pain. A time where you can feel very alone in a big world. We will walk together and talk together, no mountain too tall. Last year we conquered Snowdon as one. Unity, togetherness and an unbreakable spirit in the memory of our children. In June 2023 we return once more as a team. Working together for the same goals. We may not be able to stop the downpour, but we will all walk with you in the rain."
