As she lights a candle and a flame flickers in the darkness during Baby Loss Awareness Week (2022), twin mum Katie Harris will remember Abikara, her daughter who died in January 2021.
"I was pregnant with identical twin girls in 2019; it was our first pregnancy and we were so excited. In May, at 16 weeks however, we sadly lost both of them. We were absolutely devastated."
"The birth of our quads at just under 26 weeks' gestation and subsequent passing of our first born quad two days later seems a blur to me now, over eight years later."
