The course offers practical tips, particularly in preparing your existing child(ren) for the babies' arrival. You'll also have the chance to meet other people expecting twins, triplets or more and start building a support network before your babies arrive.

What you'll explore during the course

  • Part one - the birth, including: different types of multiple birth, how your birth choices may be different, what happens if your babies arrive early and need special care, how to prepare for birth, how to prepare your child/children, postnatal recovery.

  • Part two - newborn twins or triplets, including: coping with newborn twins, triplets or more alongside older child or children, getting out and about, managing feeding, juggling routines with children of different ages, ways to include your existing child or children, while minimising sibling rivalry.

Prefer something more private?

Twins Trust also offers private online sessions. These start from £185 for two people for a total of three hours, which can be arranged as one three-hour session or two 1.5-hour sessions.

All sessions are delivered live online via Zoom. You can join on any compatible computer, tablet or phone. For the best experience, we recommend using a computer in an area free of distractions to ensure you can engage fully and make the most of the course.
