Ascend more than 1,000 metres to reach Wales’ highest peak on a day-time trek. Enjoy breath-taking views and a huge sense of achievement!

Following on from our Ben Nevis climb in 2021, we are proud to hold this joint event again with eight other charities which support families that have experienced the loss of a baby: Anam Cara Fasgadh, Sands, Bliss, Child Bereavement UK, Tommy’s, STAR for Harris and The Lullaby Trust.

"Losing a child is an unimaginable pain. A time where you can feel very alone in a big world. We will walk together and talk together, no mountain too tall. Last year we conquered Ben Nevis as one. Unity, togetherness and an unbreakable spirit in the memory of our children. In July 2022 we return once more as a team. Working together for the same goals. We may not be able to stop the downpour, but we will all walk with you in the rain."

- Michael, Kyle's Dad, Anam Cara Fasgadh

The loss of a child is something no parent should have to face, and coping with such an unbearable loss is bewildering and traumatic.  Twins Trust runs a Bereavement Support Group (BSG) to help families cope with the loss of one or more of their multiples. While other charities offer bereavement support we are the only one in the UK here specifically for multiple birth families.

Many of our walkers will have experienced a bereavement but anyone (aged 14+) is welcome to be part of #TeamTwinsTrust on this fantastic event.

Where?

Mount Snowdon, Caernarfon, Wales, LL55 4UL.

When?

9am on Sunday 3 July 2022 (expected finish at 5pm approx.). We will meet at the event hub in Llanberis and travel together to the start of the climb.
