I’d agree not to buy very much until you know what size and sex they are. We had both tiny baby and early baby from john lewis with two boys weighing 2.2 and 2kg, i found the biggest issue was they weren't long enough in the leg. Next and Matalan became my go to stores and Matalan comes up bigger. Most things are available on next day delivery now so you should be able to get items quickly. Our boys are 10weeks and only just going in to 0-3 months and a lot of the clothing that was bought for them initially/ for gifts was quite wintery and will only fit now so worth bearing in mind too
Heya, mine were 2.41 and 2.87kg born at 38 w +2. They wore tiny baby the first few weeks. I agree that you should have enough baby grows and bodysuits as you don’t want to be worrying about doing the laundry. I had never been to an Asda before the children were conceived but a neighbour recommended their clothing from 0-2yr and I did think the quality was nice. You do need to sift through it as some of the designs are not to everybody’s liking. For nice designs and organic cotton I always go frugi but I don’t know if they do tiny.
Mine are 6 weeks old now and were decent sizes when they were born at 36w at 2.4&2.8kg. They are still wearing tiny baby sizes so make sure you have enough vests and babygros! Newborn is big and forget about 0-3 months; gigantic!
In case it helps my little ones were 2kg each and I found the 'tiny baby' from George a good size for them. The new born absolutely drowned them. They will grow quickly so don't buy too much they are unlikely to wear it for long. Good luck with your twins
I'd just buy a couple of tiny baby things. You can always buy more. Keep the receipt just in case. I bought mainly forst size then went out and got more tiny baby closer to end of pregnancy as I knew my twins were going to be quite small from their scans. Xxx
