Hi. We are expecting twins in a matter of weeks and wondered if anyone had recommendations for a nappy changing bag. Obviously we all need to stock more nappies and changes of clothes than parents expecting one baby, so we were wondering if there is such a thing as a twin/multiples nappy changing bag?
Hi, our boys are only 3 weeks old but many people here recommended getting a backpack as we need all the spare hands we can get(!) and I ordered the ‘iniuniu Nappy Changing Backpack with Nappy Pouch’ from Amazon and so far it’s been amazing…. Used it as a hospital bag at first and it’s like Mary Poppins’ bag… fitted everything and the kitchen sink in it! It has loads of pockets and compartments and seems to endlessly expand, plus it comes with a super handy changing mat and dummy-case. Loving it so far, plus the hubby is happy to wear it too.
I just used a normal backpack and brought a load of different colours zip pouches. It works really well as I have different things in different pouches so it’s easy to find what I need. Especially as I have an older daughter so they all have changes of clothes in different pouches and I have a pouch of my own with purse medicine etc. it’s also useful if I go out on my own I just throw my pouch in a normal bag and have everything I need.
My twins are 7 months old and while I was worried that a standard nappy bag wouldn’t hold everything I needed, I have managed really well with a storksac Stevie quilt bag. It also looks lovely! I don’t know how long it will last me, as the twins grow, but so far, so good! It has plenty of compartments and a nappy changing mat too. There is also a strap to attach to your pram.
Pacapod - I had the Firenze which was great. I continued to use it long after the twins were out of nappies, as it was a great handbag too. They do backpack styles too. The pods were so useful to keep nappy items and food items apart. It wore really well too and was easily sold when I finished using it.
I had (and still have, 3years later) the Lekebaby backpack. It's not designed for twins but it was always spacious enough for us and really handy to carry on your back. It does have straps to attach to the pram too. It has aged really well, looks as good as new still.
