Refusal of daytime naps
Hi everyone, I have twin boys who are 7 months corrected age. The last
2.5 weeks, one of my boys has been really refusing his daytime naps or
taking up to 45 mins to fall asleep once put in his cot and then only
catnapping. By the evening, naturally he is cranky and we will get tears
after his first sleep cycle at bedtime. He then ends up sleeping through
(thank god!).His brother has been fine and I should add they've always
been great nappers. I've tried longer wake times to see if this works
but it hasn't. When I've put him down for a nap there have always been
sleepy signs to indicate he's tired but he'll then start playing in his
cot. The room is always dark, white noise is on and temperature is cool.
I thought it might be due to teething or a sleep regression, but I'm
absolutely exhausted at moment juggling the two of them with different
nap routines! I'm trying to be patient and consistent but to no avail at
the moment! Has anyone else experienced this and any advice? Thank you
in advance
