Our work with maternity units saves babies’ lives. Help us to carry out this work so that even more families experience the magical milestone of bringing their babies home safe and sound.
Every £100 raised will enable us to give another family expecting twins, triplets or more the best possible chance of bringing their babies home safe and sound.
The first donations - up to £2,000 - will be doubled thanks to the generosity of our partners at Leigh Day.

Paramjit and Naminder lost precious twins at almost 20 weeks and felt like their world was ending. But thanks to the amazing care provided by midwives Laura and Nicky, backed up by Twins Trust’s Maternity Engagement Project, in October 2023 they were finally able to bring home their twins, Ajooni and Avnoor. Read their full story here and learn how the Twins Trust Matenity Engagement Project transformed their lives.
Only 1.4% of pregnancies are multiples, yet they represent 6.4% of stillbirths and 13.5% of neonatal deaths. It’s getting worse. That’s why our work with hospitals is so important.
So far, through the Maternity Engagement Project, we’ve seen:
- a reduction in neonatal admissions and emergency C-sections
- 96% of all units improved their adherence to NICE guidelines
- 36% reduction in still births in maternity units we’ve worked with (since 2019)
- 66% reduction in neonatal deaths in units we’ve worked with (since 2019)
But it’s impossible to find money in the NHS to fund this work.
That’s why we need your help to make it happen.
