Data processing
By taking up a membership of Twins Trust and by providing the Trust with your personal information, you consent to the storage and processing of the information provided by you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Additionally, you warrant that the information you provide is accurate. This represents a binding contract between the member and Twins Trust.
Membership fees and renewals
- All memberships run on an ongoing 12-month basis.
- As Twins Trust is a small charity, we sometimes need to increase our membership fees in order to cover our overheads and to continue to operate. Any fee increases will be communicated with members in advance of the membership renewal period.
- We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on membership fees, unless the payment was taken in error by Twins Trust.
- We are only able to accept payments in £GBP. If payments are made in any other currencies, you will be liable for any charges Twins Trust incurs.
- If you fail to pay Twins Trust any instalment due by the required date, your membership may be cancelled with immediate effect. We will write to you and give you the opportunity to pay outstanding instalments by alternative means, or to set up a new Direct Debit. Please note, this will not apply if your failure to pay is due to a bank or Twins Trust error.
Direct debits
-
Upon signing up for a direct debit, you agree to take out the selected Twins Trust membership for 12 months. This includes monthly direct debits, which are payable in instalments due on a monthly basis as your annual membership progresses. Please note, if you cancel your membership before the end of the 12 months, you may be liable for the outstanding fees.
-
If you pay via direct debit and your direct debit instruction is cancelled by you or your bank, your membership and access to your member benefits may end immediately. We will send you a notice for outstanding fees that should be paid within 30-days to reactivate your membership.
-
If you need to amend your direct debit details, please contact the Twins Trust Membership Team at [email protected] at least 10 working days in advance of your next subscription payment.
Concessionary memberships
Your membership fees ensure Twins Trust is able to deliver vital services, be there for families in the community and achieve the change families of twins, triplets and more deserve. However, we also want to ensure membership is accessible to those who need it so, if you're unable to pay the Standard membership fees due to special circumstances (e.g. you're on parental leave/carers’ leave, are unemployed or are being paid under the minimum wage), Twins Trust offers a concessionary rate, which is £1.70 per month and is available to anyone who fits this criteria.
If you would like to request this discount, please contact the Twins Trust Membership Team ([email protected]) at least 10 working days in advance of your next subscription payment. Please note, this discount cannot be applied retrospectively.
You can claim this discount for up to 12 consecutive months and you'll need to notify the Twins Trust Membership Team ([email protected]) if you would like to extend this.
