This insightful presentation is designed with parents of multiples in mind—whether you’re raising twins, triplets, or more.
We’ll dive into the fascinating world of play and its profound impact on child development. You’ll discover how play supports not just communication and language but also emotional growth, physical skills, and brain development. Together, we’ll explore the different types of play, what children learn through these experiences, and what play feels like from their perspective at various ages. Whether you’re navigating the unique challenges of raising multiples or simply seeking to unlock their full potential, this session will offer valuable insights and practical knowledge to celebrate the transformative power of play.
This session will be led by Jo Mengaud, a Family Crisis Support Practitioner with Twins Trust. Jo brings loads of experience to the session — she’s a trained Norland Nanny, a Montessori teacher skilled in structuring developmentally appropriate play into fun ideas and a therapeutic play practitioner who helps children work through tough times using play.
Jo truly believes that play is more than just learning; it's a child's language. Jo is here to share her expertise and guide us in understanding how we can use play with our children.
