Delivered in partnership with Slater & Gordon, join us for an informative webinar on 16 October at 12pm.

Many parents in the Twins Trust community come to us for support when they are navigating the Special Educational Needs (SEN) system for their child/children. And we know that when it comes to drafting EHC plans the process can be pretty daunting and overwhelming. So we’ve teamed up with legal experts at Slater and Gordon to deliver a free webinar to help guide parents through the process. We will focus on understanding Education Health and Care plans and will cover the following topics:

  • Summary of the new SEN system
  • Who can apply for an EHC Needs Assessment and what are the legalities
  • Timeframes – what to expect
  • What the content of an EHCP should look like
  • An explanation of which sections of the EHCP are enforceable
  • Examples of outcomes and what can be provided
  • When it’s appropriate to appeal and how
  • Q&A
