Researchers from the Elizabeth Bryan Multiple Births Centre are carrying out research into the experiences of dads of multiples in the early years. They want to understand how dads feel about their role, and what support they need.

The study involves interviews with dads who are peer supporters, a survey of dads’ experiences, and exploring the reasons dads seek further support. We hope this study will help to address the lack of research into dads’ experiences, and identify the support needs of dads. With this evidence we aim to increase understanding of dads’ needs and improve the support available to them.

For more information about the study please contact Lorna Hibberd at [email protected].

The Elizabeth Bryan Multiple Birth Centre also hosts a parent involvement group called “Family Voices”. The group is an opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers of multiples to have their voices heard, so that we can help make positive changes to better support all multiple birth families. If you would like to share your views and experiences, please sign up to the group.
